In the midst of the media blizzard around Bill Cosby on the allegation of rape, I have been most impressed by the magazine cover that New York Magazine used in illustrating the story. This cover will be remembered as a brilliant piece of design. I’m really smitten by it. It’s about the most conceptual I’ve seen this year. A dark experience among certain women packaged into a cool narrative. And they mentioned that it’s a 6-month project. I don’t know why I’m jealous. Maybe because I long to see equally brilliant journalism in Nigeria. (Hint: I have a Dream).
I wonder what the empty seat suggests. A faceless victim? Another victim in waiting? Or what?
